The newly developed 3G platform enhances the HXC-FB80's capabilities in 1080/50p and 59.94p signal processing, all at low power consumption. In addition, when paired with the HXCU-FB80 4K/HD camera control unit, the HXC-FB80 offers beneficial expansions including 4K upscaling and HD HDR (HLG, Hybrid Log-Gamma)* support for a scalable solution. The optional HZC-RCP5 PC-based remote control panel is also available for easier application.

The Scalable 4K Live Production Solution

The HXC-FB80 offers you an innovative entry point to the benefits of 4K production. Combined with the HXCU-FB80 camera control unit, it delivers 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution images that are rich in detail, making the HXC-FB80 ideal for creating Ultra HD content. The camera can output 3G-SDI signals including 1080/50p and 59.94p. The 3G processor also supports 1080/23.92 PsF in addition to 25 PsF and 29.97 PsF.

Ready for HDR

Make your content scalable for viewers and allow them to take advantage of an ever-growing variety of High Dynamic Range TVs and display devices. A free firmware update (due summer 2018) enables HDR HD production with support for HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma).

The HXC-FB80 offers excellent imaging performance and functionality in a portable camera. It is ideal for our RCP-1000/1500 series of remote control panels or for use with the HZC-RCP5 remote control software that allows you to control a system of 5 live cameras. You will benefit from many advanced features, such as camera control, well known to users of our high-end HDC series system cameras. The camera is also compatible with exciting options such as the new Sony OLED viewfinders.
